343 Industries Community Manager John "Unyshek" Junyszek has announced in a contempo Tweet that Halo Infinite'due south multiplayer volition be updated with three boosted matchmaking playlists presently: Fiesta, Tactical Slayer (SWAT), and Free-For-All (FFA). Junyszek noted that while these playlists won't arrive in time for Halo Infinite's official Dec. eight launch, they will arrive before 2022.
Junyszek too confirmed that the developers are working on a Social Slayer playlist that will accept "multiple variations," only that this playlist won't be fix until later on the holiday season. This playlist will give fans a mode to strictly play Slayer and nada else, which will no incertitude help players who have Slayer-focused Weekly Challenges to complete.
Overall, this is an fantabulous change for Halo Infinite, peculiarly since Halo Infinite's fun multiplayer is arguably being held back past its lack of content. Hopefully even more modes and playlists will be added moving forwards, though according to Junyszek, the developers are planning to try out further additions to the game during Events before adding them every bit permanent content offerings.
